Earthworks of a deserted rural settlement, sited on north-facing slope in the lee of a scarp, presumably for purposes of shelter. The denuded earthworks of the settlement comprise an L-shaped enclosure defining a former yard around the house, which is visible as a rectangular platform extending on the north-west of the yard and surrounding by a sunken, previously worn, area. Recorded during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance.
