Description
The village of Llanrhaeadr-yng-nghinmeirch lies about 5km south-east of Denbigh. It has a medieval church, St Dyfnog's (Nprn: 165239), which contains a remarkable Jesse window dating from 1533, which was originally part of Basingwerk Abbey. There is a holy well, Ffynnon Dyfnog (Nprn: 32295), a short distance to the west, once a destination for pilgrims.

The village was also known under the anglicised spellings of Llanrhaiadr in Kinmerch in the nineteenth century, and Llanrhaiadr yn Cinmerch
