Located on the west bank of the Nedd Fechan, close to its confluence with a tributary stream, is a group of rectangular and oval/circular earthwork structures. They represent an abandoned upland settlement of late medieval and/or post-medieval date. They comprise a partitioned linear building of `longhut? or `longhouse? type, a possible second example, a small oval enclosure, probably a fold, a `shelter? or food store, and an arcuate bank at the stream edge, perhaps the remains of a structure eroded by stream action. Attention was drawn to the site by the portrayal on modern maps of the linear building, uncaptioned, as a modern topographical feature.
