Identifiable on O/S mapping from the 1960s, Cymmer Greyhound Stadium was a short-lived dog racing track about which relatively little is known. Seemingly part of the post-war rejuvenation of greyhound racing, the site was given over to housing in the early 1970s. The present Caemawr Gardens estate covers the site.
