Description
Treffgarne Lake is on the site of the former Treffgarne Quarry that was once part of the Treffgarne Estate. The quarry was used as a source of andesite, which is used for road construction, up until the 1960s. In the 1970s the quarry was sold to the sold to Sealyham Activity Centre and it has been subsequently used for canoeing. It was photographed during aerial reconniassance by RCAHMW on 15 June 2004.
