Description
A stepped terrace of just three houses built sometime between 1873 and 1899, as shown from the 25? Ordnance Survey maps of these dates, and situated along the High Street in Cefn Mawr. All are constructed from distinctive red brick and conform to a standard late nineteenth century design, with an offset door, one ground floor window and two upstairs (with the exception of number 1 which has only one upper storey window). These have all been replaced by UPVC units and have painted window and door heads. The roof is slate with three mid-ridge chimneys and number 3 also has decorative holed ridge tiles which may have once extended along the whole terrace. Positioned close to the road, the front yards are small and have short red brick boundary walls with rounded coping.
