Description
Wayside station on the Aberystwyth and Welsh Coast Railway (Cambrian Railways from 1865 and now known as the Cambrian Coast Line) between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth; this section of line and the station opened in 1863. Glandovey Station was renamed Glandyfi in 1904 and closed to passengers in 1965 although a through single line is still in use. The main station building has been converted into a dwelling and the station site is a private garden.
