Rhosymedre Community Primary School was formed in 2007 following the amalgamation of the junior and infants schools. The former school building was demolished following the opening of the new school building in 2011.

The building of the the former Rhosymedre Junior School and Rhosymedre Infants School were photographed by the RCAHMW during aerial reconnaissance on 14 March 2003.
