Description
Wayside station on the former Wrexham, Mold and Connah's Quay Railway line between Shotton and Wrexham. Opened as Hope Junction Station with the line in 1866, it later became Hope and was renamed Hope Exchange in 1878 and Hope Exchange High Level in 1953. There was no external access to the station and its main purpose was to allow easy exchange of passengers with the adjacent Hope Station (nprn 41392) on the low level line between Chester and Mold, via a footpath. The station closed in 1958.
