Description
A pair of ponds created essentially as ornamental within the wooded wilderness area of the Craflwyn garden. The larger pond has an island at its centre and feeds water by way of a stone lined channel into the smaller pond. This smaller pond is essentially the header tank for the pipe leading to the pelton wheel once sited at the Home Farm of the estate just below the site. (NPRN 414021). Various sluice arrangements are still visible but no longer function.
