Description
Originally a terminal station on the former Barry Railway. This section of line and the station opened in 1889; the Vale of Glamorgan Railway extended the line through to Bridgend in 1897. The line and station remain open for traffic. The engine shed (nprn 41428) and signal box (nprn 414101) still stand.
