A site sonsisting of an extensive excavated area cut about 8m into the hillside exposing the underlying strata to a depth of about 3m, with a with of about 3m. In front of this cutting the resultant spoil has been formed into a roughly level area about 18m x 12m. It is probably either a trial excavation or an abandoned mine.
