DescriptionDescribed as 'the mutilated remains of an unrecorded moat', this site, discovered in 1974, lies close to Rhydlafr cross-roads in the parish of St. Fagans. The moat, now cut through by railway tracks and partially overlaid by a road embankment, was of rectangular form and is thought to have measured between 61 and 62 square metres. The site was found to have been levelled before detailed investigation could be made.
