Erected in 1926 following a grant from the Miners' Welfare Fund, Seven Sisters (Blaendulais) Miners Welfare Hall provided a public hall for the community. In addition to the Welfare Hall, the association managed recreation grounds, swimming baths, and a cinema, which had a capacity of 620 seats. The hall remains extant and is in use as a social club.
