Ysgol Rhiw Bechan is located within the village of Tregynon. The school was built in 1995 and serves as an area primary school, following the closure of four village primary schools in Bettws, Adfa, Manafon and the original school in Tregynon (NPRN: 308159).The school has approx. 140 pupils on roll, and caters for 4-11 year olds.
