Hill house is part of a farmstead as denoted on the Ordnance Survey County Series Mapping of 1889 (Radnorshire XXIII 1 1st ed.). A block of rectangular fields lies to the west of the buildings, as denoted on the county series mapping. Additional buildings have been added in later years.
