A small burnt mound lies in a broad shallow stream valley, on boggy ground on the west side of a minor (peat-clogged) stream on the north slope of Cefn Bryn. It measures 4m (E-W) by 3.5m and 0.75m high on the downhill north side, elsewhere merging with rising ground. Probing indicates a gravelly texture, the mound made up of small broken stones below its turf cover.
