Description
On the south side of Kitchen Corner at Rhossili, just above the causeway to Worm's Head, was found a scatter of coal fragments. The deposit lay just above High Water Mark on the eroded cliff edge. It may indicate the site of a former limekiln or a loading point for burnt lime (or fuel), given the local history of limestone exploitation.
