The open-air swimming baths in Rhos-on-Sea opened in the interwar years and were an extremely popular attraction for residents and tourists alike. 66 yards long and nearly 10ft deep in the diving area, it was also well appointed and provided for swimming, diving and other water sports. The baths remained extant until the 1980s when they were closed.
