Description
The Q-site command centre and generator buidling is still extant.

Event and Historical Information:
This decoy airfield was developed early in 1940 to draw away enemy bomebs from RAF Llandow. 53 OTU (Operational Training Unit) supplied the personnel. The Q site was dismantled in 1943 leaving a large open field (Marcross Airfield) which was used as an occasional landing ground by th US Army's Piper Cub L4s based with their artillery untis at St Donats Castle.
