Description
tModern aerial photographs confirm the continued presence of concrete hardstanding for a blister hangar at SS89747336, and two concrete aprons where aircraft were stored at SS89547370 and SS89347363. There is also a derelict office building at SS90257363

Event and Historical Information:
This satelite landing ground was developed to provide the base for 19 MU. Published suggest a variety of modifications to the fields boundary and the installation fo concret bridges to allow the aricraft to moved to their storage locations. Other facilites include a blister hanger, a robin hanger near Pitcot farm and a Nashcrete buidling acting as a canteen. The SLG closed in July 1945, but some work continue there until September 1945.
