One long boundary divides the Neck in half. To the south of this boundary are a series of roughly square and rectangular fields covering much of the area up to the promontory fort known as South Castle (NPRN 305371). To the north (and possibly crossing the boundary) is a block of cultivation and two enclosures, one attaching itself to the boundary and the other running from the highest point.
