Description
The King's arms consists of two wings, the northern wing likely being combined with the southern wing after the late-nineteenth century. The southern wing consists of two and a half storeys with two large chimneys placed in the northern gable end and asymmetrically in the centre of the building. The top half storey projects out from the roof, higher than the roof of the southern wing. It has two small windows to either far side and two larger windows to the left and right of the centre of the building in line with similarly-placed windows in the first and second storey. Between the windows in the second story is a sign stating `King's Arms? At the northern end of the building is a small porch with a slanted roof and a single door. At the southern end is a larger porch which overlaps both wings. It has a gabled roof and two doors which lead into the north and south wings. The southern wing has two second storey windows, a first-storey canted bay window, and two large flat-roofed dormers. The pub sign displays a unicorn and lion supporting a shield bearing a green dragon on a blue field above which is a crown.
