This ground, marked on the 4th edition of the O/S mapping of Glamorgan, was used as a rugby ground for much of the inter-war and immediate post-war period. The ground had its own pavilion and terracing and was set amidst undulating spoil tips overlooking the town centre. At times the ground was used by Maesteg Harlequins RFC. The site is now occupied by the Llynfi Enterprise Centre and the Heol-Ty-Gwyn Industrial Estate.
