Description
Wooden decking bridge constructed between 1920 and 1939 according to Ordnance Survey mapping and plans held by J. W. Greaves Ltd.

The bridge crosses the River Bowydd carrying the tramway from the original Maenofferen Upper Mill (NPRN ****) to a junction with the Rhiwbach Tramway (NPRN 65647) for onward shipment of finished slate products. The bridge is 0m x 0m x 0m and tramway rails are still in situ on the bridge decking.
