A stone-built overbridge, the outer arch rings consisting of four course of brickwork. The road rises steeply southwards from Newborough Street to Maenofferen Terrace (NPRN 410721), and the road leve is delineated by a stone string course on the outer elevations. The bridge probably post-dates the conversion of the Ffestiniog and Blaenau Railway in 1882.
