The main adit at the Cefn coch site. The others are ranged above this one along the line of the lode which runs in a SW to NE direction the various shafts and adits along this line partially interconnect. The adit is sited right by the small office or store and opens out onto a large are of partially revetted spoil, spilling out onto the hillside below. This spoil is about 35m in diameter. The depth of the adit is unknown.
