Site Record

Fferm Tynrhelyg is located on gently sloping grond above the Afon Ystwyth, adjacent to the old railway embankment, the former Manchester & Milford Railway (NPRN: 91660) below Cwm Cati woods. The farm is named Ty'n-y-helyg on the 1888 Cardiganshire County Series Mapping (1st edition, sheet X 6). A large farmhouse, somewhat extended and modified still exists with a U shaped barn complex to the east of the house, as denoted on the 1888 map.
