Description
This lych gate is situated within the south churchyard boundary of St Mary's Church, Tal-y-llyn (NPRN 96024). It is thought to date to the eighteenth century, and was reputedly provided for the convenience of parishioners arriving over the mountain from the Corris valley when the road through Minffordd was flooded.

The stone lych gate is a Grade II listed building, as is the lych gate within the west churchyard boundary (NPRN 400401). It iron gates and a slated roof with cavetto eaves and inner and outer gables.
