Royal St David's Golf Course is situated on the dunes to the west of Harlech. The golf course was founded in 1894 by the Hon. Harold Finch-Hatton and has since become a nationally and internationally renowned club. The course has 18 holes, and adjoining clubhouse. The couse overlays several linear field boundaries denoted on the 1889 Merionethshire 1st edition mapping (sheet XVIII 16).
