Capel Crist is thought to have been located in this vicinity, due to a field known as 'Mynwent Capel Crist' ('Christ's Chapel graveyard'), adjoining the former Edwinsford Arms. The site is depicted on first and second edition Ordnance Survey mapping. The site was visited by RCAHMW staff in 1913. An adjacent well was noted to also bear the name of the chapel. A modern cul-de-sac, buildings and their curtilages now cover the site.
