West Monmouthshire Golf Club is located on the western edge of Nantyglo, south of the Brecon Beacons. The golf course, designed by Ben Sayer was established in 1906 and by 1909 had 18 holes and was affiliated to the Gwent Golf Union. The golf course serves the communities of north Monmouthshire.
