Set on a north-facing hillside, remains of Bron-mwyn lead mine are shown on the first and second editions of the Ordnance Survey 25in maps of 1889 and 1905 respectively, annotated 'Lead Mines (disused)'. There are five shafts, two limekilns, buildings, two structures which may be waterwheel pits, the lower of which may have driven a circular buddle, and various spoil tips.
