Allt-y-Cadno farmstead, on the lower eastern slopes of Mynydd Garth, is a deserted farmstead comprising of a large, rectangular outer enclosure, with a smaller rectangular inner enclosure and farm building, now in ruins. The farm is denoted on the 1st edtition 1877 Ordnance Survey County Series mapping of Glamorgan (sheet Glamorgan VIII 3), with the enclosures and building.
