A large spoil heap, now within a hedge line and very overgrown. Eroded areas show it to be composed of coal or anthracite mining waste. No pit of any kind evident and no depressions exist in the immediate area to demonstrate mining. Overall about 30m x 12m and about 2m high. 55m above O.D.
