Site Record

Vine Cottage was dated to the mid-late 18th century; although fabric investigation recording revealed evidence of an earlier building, affixed to the north wall, which was thought to have been demolished in the late 19th century.
The 18th century two-storey stone building was extended and re-fenestrated in the 1950/1960s.
At the date of the building recording [2007] the house was empty, and in a state of disrepair. It was subsequently demolished and the site marked for redevelopment.
