This long hut is one component of a group of structures which forms a deserted rural settlement on Llain Wen (NPRN 418534)
It measures 7.1m (NW-SE) by 2.75m within wall footings 0.6m-0.75m wide composed of small boulders. There are traces of a partition wall 4.5m from the east end that divides the building into two unequal bays, the upper, smaller one 0.1m-0.2m above the lower. There is an entrance gap in the east wall of the lower bay. The longhut is built on gently sloping ground with no evidence of platforming.
