Description
This shelter is one component of a group of structures which forms a deserted rural settlement on Llain Wen (NPRN 418534).
The structure is formed by a narrow passage 3m long (N-S) and 0.5m wide which leads into an oval interior 2.5m (E-W) by 1.75m. This is cut into rising ground to 1m deep and revetted with large stones. The `passage? is defined by lines of boulders and is most pronounced on its west side which extends for 3m beyond the entrance. A possible root store.
