The works is shown on an Aerofilms photograph dating from 1947 and the names 'Durus Cast Stone Co Ltd' and 'Steward Costain Ltd' are clearly visible. The site is depicted and annotated 'Brick Works' on the Ordnance Survey 25in mapping of 1941 and as 'Concrete Works' on the 6in mapping of 1951; it was annotated 'Works' in 1982 and has since been demolished and built over.
