Westgate Iron Works, Newport, was established as an engineering and foundry business in the late 19th century by W.A. Baker and Company Ltd., and was situated on Carngethin Wharf, Newport. During WW2 a new foundry was constructed. In 1957 Black-Clawsen of USA took over the company.
