Boiler stack located approx. 0.33 km to the north-west of Cefn-Parc Farm. Denoted as air shaft on the Ordnance Survey county series mapping of 1871 (Glamorgan, sheet XXXVI 13). By 1871 (2nd edition) the air shaft is noted as disused.
