Ysgol Pontyberem is a Welsh medium primary school catering for 3-11 year olds. The school has approx. 155 pupils on roll.

As part of Welsh Government's 21st Century Schools Programme, Ysgol Pontyberem received an extensive £4million re-development and refurbishment, completed by April 2019 by local Welsh construction firm Lloyd and Gravell.
