This 800,000sqft warehouse is the second largest Amazon fulfilment centre in Britain. It opened in April 2008, with capacity for over1000 employees. It took just sixteen months from initial discussins between interested parties to the opening of the new facility. The 33acre site is the approximate size of 10 football pitches, and the construction work included a new access road and the reconfiguration of the existing road and roundabout.
