Description
One of a pair of probably similar weirs on the Clywedog both shown on 2nd edition 25 inch OS map. The second weir downstream of this is now gone. The surviving example consists of large blocks of stone in the stream bed, roughly laid about half of which seem to be in situ. They continue for a distance of about 10m in an area where the river is about the same width and where the river has been embanked with a stone wall.
