DescriptionA 'Corn Mill' is depicted and annotated on the first (1889) and second (1906) editions of the Ordnance Survey 25in mapping. It is believed to have been a two-storey building, with an undershot waterwheel on its northeast gable wall. Its water came from a weir across the Afon Cywyn just above Pont Goch (nprn 23955) to the northeast, in a leat some 570 metres long. The tail race is some 230 metres long and set upon it is a Woollen Factory (nprn 421599). The corn mill site has been demolished and built over.
