The site of the "cottage & etc" parcel no 1172 from the tithe survey of 1842. The site is shown as a rectangular roofed structure on the 25 inch 2nd edition O.S. map (1907). This map shows that the structure had a kind of annexe or lean-to at its SW end and a porch or shelter at the other end. The site is a level shelf of land on the NW side of Cwm Badau commanding a fine view of Abercastle and the sea to the E. There are no longer any visible remains of this site. 25m above O.D.
