The former British School at Tremadog was designed by Owen Morris Roberts circa 1870 as a small symmetrical building with a porch entrance either side of a central single window projection with small bell tower on top. It appears on the first edition OS 25" map, CA XXXI V. 11, of 1889. It has been added to and altered and is now the Ysgol y Gorlan site.
