South Lodge to Alltyrodyn appears on the first edition Ordnance Survey 25" map, CD XL. 12, of 1889. It is a small single storey lodge adjoining the driveway, gates and gatepiers to Alltyrodyn and is of square plan with low-pitched roof and diagonally-set stone apex stack. The doorway and windows have Tudor Gothic detail.
