DescriptionThe farm mill is part of a well-preserved farmstead some 100 metres north of the farmhouse (NPRN 15897). The mill is a two-storey structure, built of rubblestone with slate cills and lintels and a hipped slated roof supported by king-post trusses. The upper storey is accessed by an external stone staircase with brick treads, against the north end of the building. On the west side of the building is a subterranean wheelpit, now covered, with a wheel 18ft (5.5 metres) in diameter in situ. Abutting the south side of the mill there is a stable for six horses.
