Description
Village war memorial located at a road junction on the east side of the A496.
The monument is a Celtic-type ring cross with a tapered polished shaft mounted on a chamfered, tapered, pedestal and square plinth on a square base. The cross is decorated with interlace on its front north face. The polished front face of the pedestal is engraved with the names of those from the district who fell in the First World War. Its west face is likewise engraved with a Second World War dedication.
The memorial is set in a small, raised, garden area enclosed with stone wall and railings and approached from the north side by a stone stairway, seven steps up.
